The Gauker custom home is an open-concept ranch home in Schuylkill Haven, PA. The primary vision for the homeowners was to have a large home that was ideally suited for entertaining, complete with a finished basement. They also wanted to enjoy the scenery of Schuylkill County and enjoy the mountain views afforded by living in the countryside. We delivered their vision and custom-built the Gauker family a traditional brick ranch home with 2,671 square feet of finished living space with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms on the first floor and 1,886 square feet of finished living space in the lower level. 

The Main Living Area

This ranch-style home has an open-concept living space complete with a custom-designed kitchen, dining room, family room, powder room, laundry room, office, and master bedroom suite on the first floor. 

The main kitchen has plenty of storage in custom-designed cabinetry and a painted island. We designed a huge walk-in pantry for extra storage with adjustable shelving system, cabinetry, and butcher block countertops. There is a full bathroom in the hallway, and the laundry room consists of custom-designed adjustable shelving, granite countertops, and a drop-in utility sink. 

The master suite includes a large master bedroom, a large master bedroom, and a walk-in closet with an abundance of shelving and cabinetry. The master bathroom has a tiled shower and a drop-in whirlpool tub. The walk-in closet has plenty of storage space in the adjustable shelving system and a customized stained maple island.

Finished Basement Living Area

The partly-finished walkout basement includes a spare bedroom, a full bath, bar, and rec room. The finished basement has a great room and custom bar area with a working kitchen. This is the perfect space for entertaining guests or enjoying time with the family. A large wood-burning fireplace has been installed with finishes to be completed by the homeowner at a later date.
